De-escalating has its art and science, and you may have heard several different ways to proceed, or none at all. "What really works? What makes a difference? What makes someone more likely to escalate and is there anything I could do?" The answer is here with SWEET De-escalation Skills Training. Register, learn new skills, enhance your practice and make a difference.
By the end of this self-study webinar, you will:
- Learn and Master critical thinking in clinical care
- Master the reasons Why patients and clients are likely to escalate.
- Learn and master the principles and techniques of De-escalation
- Master the do's and don'ts of De-escalation.
- Identify your areas for improvement and feel empowered to start implementation in your clinical practice.
- Learn and Master How to think multidimensionally, accounting for the patient/client, clinician/advocate, and agency/system related factors.
- Immerse yourself in the Socratic Method, the Desire Method, and the Collective Learning experience and enhance your ability to provide excellent care, prevent burnout and promote self-care.
