Introduction

One of the biggest reasons why clinicians feel overwhelmed is from working with challenging patients and clients. And, the fewer skills available, the more overwhelmed one can feel. Yet, several skills can be mastered to work with this group of individuals properly, and this workshop is about just this.

Please join us and master a framework to working with challenging patients and clients, and leave with skills to also put an end to feeling overwhelmed when working with this group of individuals.

What you’ll learn

At the end of this online seminar, you will have:

  • Discovered exactly why clients are challenging.
  • Learned how to best work with any client any time, anywhere.
  • Mastered a framework that gives results in a predictable way.
  • Increased your tools of talking with patients and clients, by identifying at least one thing you will start doing differently at the end of the seminar, as a result of the Socratic Motivational Practice framework.
  • Everything you want in one place, including an illustration of how to implement the newly learned skills during our role plays.
  • Received your certificate by email after your post-test and evaluation are completed.

Who is this for?

This course is for any clinician invested in learning new or honing existing skills to be able to use in dynamic ways to support their patients and clients and to end suffering.

Here's what attendees have been saying about SWEET seminars:

“I've been a Social Worker for 20 years and it is a good feeling to have found a solid continuing education platform to learn from.” - Kerry, LMSW

"The sensitivity to the subject matter for today's session was outstanding. The material was presented with thoroughness and not too quickly, the role play allowed the clinical content to be modeled and expanded upon. This reinforced the lessons and will leave an indelible impression to draw upon in our own clinical work." - Catherine, LCSW-R

“I love that I can take the test at my leisure and complete the evaluation immediately afterwards and I think it is wonderful that I obtain my certificate within an hour. I like the facilitators so much. They are warm and engaging and show the ability to make everyone feel so welcome.” - Mary Grace, LCSW-R
