The best clinician is the best historian and "Not knowing what happened before one's birth is to remain forever a child," says Cicero. How do we understand homelessness as it is today, mass incarceration, the current issues of community health centers and how decisions in mental health and agencies are made? The answer may be in the understanding of the history of state hospitals.

Please join us with our guest speaker, Andrew Keyes, MD, who will help us make sense of crucial aspects of mental health, and learn how to use this insight to continue to make a difference.

Join the SWEET Institute and Dr. Andrew Keyes, MD and have:

  1. A deeper understanding of the history of mental health.
  2. A deeper understanding of the history of state hospitals in the US.
  3. A deeper understanding of determining factors of decisions in mental health.
  4. Your CEU certificate available to you upon completion of the post-test and evaluation.
