How to Help Those Going Through Pain and Loss - 5th Edition (Self-Study)
Self-Study
SELF-STUDY ONLINE SEMINAR
This seminar is clinically-based for anyone invested in improving their skills.
For only New York State Licensed LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, and CASACs,
2 CEUs are available once the post-test and evaluation are completed.
We would think that helping our patients and clients through pain and loss would be "old hat." Don't we do this all the time in our work, one way or the other?
Where this might be true, how many of us actually have a framework to really help our clients?
How many of us have a process for self-reflection and evaluation of our work when we are working with clients who experience pain and loss?
How does countertransference impact our ability to effectively use silence, and be fully present for our client?
Join us and use the opportunity to reflect, fine-tune, and build your empathy clinical muscles so that you can genuinely, authentically, and powerfully experience with your client, particularly in the face of pain and loss.
Let us create a safer environment for our patients and clients in the field. Let us start with having the framework on how to help those going through pain and loss.
- Learned the framework of the Socratic Motivational Practice to increase the effectiveness of your work when helping your patients and clients going through pain and loss.
- Learned the Principles of the Socratic Motivational Practice to help your patients and clients going through pain and loss.
- Increased your tools to talking with patients and clients, by identifying at least one thing you will start doing differently at the end of the seminar, as a result of the Socratic Motivational Practice framework.
- Everything you want in one place, including an illustration of how to implement the newly learned skills during our role plays.
- Received your certificate by email immediately after your post-test and evaluation are completed.
