Introduction

How comfortable do you feel working with those who have experienced trauma? Sometimes some may unintentionally re-traumatize their patients or blur the line between their own life story and those of their clients. Join us in SWEET on a journey to explore what it means to be “trauma-informed” in a way that empowers, liberates, and inspires hope in our patients and clients, within a trusting and safe environment.

What you’ll learn

At the end of this online seminar, you will have:

  • A framework for effectively working with those who are impacted by trauma through mastery of principles, step-by-step techniques, and do's/don'ts.
  • Opportunities to practice what you learn through active role-play.
  • Skills that you can immediately implement to enhance your practice with patients and in your workplaces.
  • A chance to earn CEUs while learning in a safe, engaging, and dynamic community that utilizes the latest theories in adult education.

Who is this for?

This course is for any clinician invested in learning new or honing existing skills to be able to use in dynamic ways to support their patients and clients and to end suffering.

"So glad SWEET is here! I travel and it is often difficult to remain up to date. SWEET allows me to remain current and connects me to a wonderful group of professionals." - Laurie, LMSW

“SWEET rocks and learning has been a fun experience with the presenters. Beginning to develop a greater foundation in areas of interest "CBT and Substance Use", while developing the confidence to put into practice.” - Nelson, LMSW
