Join the SWEET Institute and David Maddux, PhD for this exciting series:

Dave Maddux holds a Ph.D. and Masters in Mythological studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from California State University, Fullerton.

Dave’s passion and specialty is in connecting symbolic interpretations of mythic and religious stories with their associations to the human experience and the psyche. His love of teaching propels him to share the wisdom found in ancient stories, poetry, mythologies, religions, and archetypal psychology and how it can be applied toward our own introspection and healing. His goal is to inspire others to discover their awareness and potential to become self-actualized individuals.

Dave has created a guided meditation, “Healing for Harmony,” designed to access your own ability to heal by working with your own sacred symbol of love. The sacred symbol, which can be a person, place, or thing, evokes the powerful force of love within your heart serving as a catalyst to release blockages within the energetic body. The goal of the “Healing for Harmony” meditation is to bring healing and to balance the body’s energy centers on the parasympathetic level.
