What's Normal, What's Not: Strategies to Better Understanding Our Patients and Clients (Self-Study)
Self-Study
SELF-STUDY WEBINAR
This seminar is clinically-based for anyone invested in improving their skills.
For only New York State Licensed LMSWs, LCSWs, LMHCs, and CASACs, 2 CEUs are available once the post-test and evaluation are completed.
What happens when our patients and clients do things that are far from what is considered to be normal? How do we respond and react? More importantly, how do we understand? If you have ever found yourself saying, "that's just not normal" or wondering why your patients and clients do things that are seemingly abnormal, come join us!
This is an opportunity to develop tools to better understand our patients and clients and why they engage in some behaviors that are counterintuitive to what would be considered "normal."
At the end of this interactive webinar, you will have:
- A framework for effectively understanding patients and clients though the mastery of principles, step-by-step techniques, and do's/don'ts;
- Opportunities to practice what you learn through active role-play;
- Skills that you can immediately implement to enhance your practice with
- patients and clients and in your workplaces;
- A chance to earn CEUs while learning in a safe, engaging, and dynamic community that utilizes the latest theories in adult education
