When working with people who are mandated to treatment, it becomes essential for us to not only look at the mandate as the reason for treatment, but really go deeper with our clients to truly understand why they are in treatment, who they are, and what they really want.
Whether mandated by the courts, an employer, or even by family members, how do we help our patients and clients feel empowered, committed, and able to engage in treatment no matter what brings them there?
What will you learn from this seminar?
- Learned the framework of the Socratic Motivational Practice to work with Mandated Individuals.
- Learned the Principles, Techniques of the Socratic Motivational Practice to work with Mandated patients and clients.
- Increased your tools for talking with patients and clients by identifying at least one thing you will start doing differently, at the end of the webinar, as a result of the Socratic Motivational Practice framework.
During this 2-hour seminar, we will guide you through an experiential learning process where you will learn what it takes to help your clients, and how to implement that in daily practice.
