We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the required addendum to the New York State Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and Maltreatment course.

There are No CEUs for this course.

This updated training, mandated under Section 413 of the New York State Social Services Law, includes new guidance on identifying abuse or maltreatment in cases where the child is an individual with an intellectual or developmental disability.

Under this law, all individuals required to complete mandated reporter training—including those who have previously completed it—must finish the updated course by November 17, 2026.

Please note:
This addendum is only for participants who have already completed the updated training on the reporting of child abuse and maltreatment with a focus on implicit bias, which was required to be completed by August 31, 2025.

So, if you took the Mandated Training Related to Child Abuse and Maltreatment:

-Before 11/1/2022: You’ll need the full updated course NOT THIS ONE. Click HERE for the Full Course

-Between 11/1/2022–8/31/2025: You’ll need a 30-minute addendum.
